11.2oz bottle. Pours transparent brown with a hint of red, topped with a thin off-white head. Aroma is on the sweet side, with cherries, wood, and a little tartness. Flavor isn’t as sweet as the aroma; it exhibits a nice balance between sweet-tart cherries, wood, and a little acetic acid. Dry cherry finish. refreshing and quite easy to drink.

From the Sharp Edge Beerfest a lot different from the previous... that was a beer with fruit, the was more like a fruit beer.... still an excellent kriek. Tart and dry

Vivid dark ved, medium sized pink foamy head. Acetic acid and an unfortunate phenolic aroma. Tart cherry flavor gives way to pucker tart. Plastic phenol tinges marr the flavor especially noticable in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium light and fairly smooth and dry.

Poured almost clear and dark brown with ruby on the peripheries. Very liitle lacing. The aroma was cherry with plenty of wood and vanilla. The flavor was tart cherry, wood and caramel. The sweetness really tried to push back against the sour in this one. Lots of carbonation but not in a distracting way. Went down easy.

Not a big fruit beer fan, I approached this with some trepidation. I just had a New Belgium Frambozen, which was just OK. I like this one a little bit better, as I enjoy the tart finish. The fruit is there but it is not overwhelming. It certainly makes the beer red, though. Sort of reminds me of the Duchesse, minus the balsamic vinegar (most of it anyway).

Nice light red colour. Quite sour taste. Average carbonation. Not very cherryish taste. Quite transparent. No nose of cherries.

Draught (500 ml) at Hilpeä Hauki, Helsinki, Finland. Clear deep red colour. Sour cherry aroma. Flavour is also very sour and cherry. Some sweetness, but not too much.
