A nice way to see in number 500 with a sour ale. Nose is sour, lambic, cream and yeast. The aroma is so deep that it seems to suck you in. Pours a deep mahogany coour beer with a fluffy white head. Cherry, oak, bitter, malt, sweet, vinegar and sharp to boot. Brilliant. Beaver (599), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

The aroma is acidic and tart cherries, wood, yeast and some sweet candy sugar.
The flavor is sweet acidic cherries with a strong tart sour tang to it, a bit of funky yeast and wood show up as well. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and syrupy with a bit of sharp carbonation.
Overall, a fun sour ale - one of the better ones I’ve had. The sweetness and tartness are a bit strong, but I liked this quite a bit. mabjork (580), Vasa, Finland

The flavour is sweet but there is a sour tone at the same time. Kinda bitter really. Quite enjouable. tokyogoat (576), San Diego, California, USA

deep crayola red body with a nice pink head
smelled of fruits and red wine
tasted slightly like calistoga sparking juice. the sweetness cloyed the yeast and the funk was just intermittent.
sweet, but the high carbonation helped it from sticking to the tongue.
overall not bad. thehoff (569), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA

Cherry smell, sourness, wine-like scent. Quite sour, carbonated, I can see the vinegarness here too. A little metallic in the finish. Nice Kriek, one of the better sours that I have tried.
