330ml bottle. Tart, vinous and fruity aroma, very lightly acetic with notes of cherry, grape, faint oak, leather and an, herbal, leafy touch mingling with a gentle brown sugary sweetness. Clear red-brown in color with a fine, lasting, creamy head. Flavor is likewise tart and fruity with an undercurrent of sweetness and earthy oak, but seeming to evoke a blend of milky chocolate, coconut and cherry towards the finish, along with a certain faint metallic tang that produces some astringency. Smooth and semi-dry on the palate with a medium-full body. Apparently the base beer is Vichtenaar, and I do believe the cherry addition is worthwhile as it blends well with the existing profile and adds some complexity.

Pours crystal clear reddish bronze with a bubbly pinkish tan head. The aroma has musty overripe red cherries with light sweetness and some sourness. Medium / thin mouthfeel that is crisp and refreshing with some light underscored prickly carbonation. The flavor starts with tart and sour cherries, vinegar notes, dark cherries, some vineous notes along with the tannins - very crisp and fairly dry. The finsih is short, sharp and crisp. A wonderfully refreshing beer. This would be great on a summer evening. Thumbs up for this fine Flemish Sour.

Oak-aged butter drops nesting in sparkling cherry crops...Tartness as an elegantly subdued geyser, rises tastefully and then falls before the end...A refreshing gateway to Flemish Sours, in the same ballpark as their Duchesse de Bourgogne...

Delicious sour cherry aroma. Cherry pie and vinnegar. Reddish brown with a light head. You steel yourself for the sour cherry onslaught and still your defenses are breached as the sour cherry coats your mouth and sinks in between your teeth. Not as complex as some others but simple, tart and delicious.

A deep red color. The aroma is sour, with note of vinegar, and it definitely has good cherry notes to it. The taste is refreshing and dry with a sour cherry character. This would be a great beer to drink on a hot day. Fruity, but not at all cloying with a nice balancing tartness.

11.2oz bottle. Pours transparent brown with a hint of red, topped with a thin off-white head. Aroma is on the sweet side, with cherries, wood, and a little tartness. Flavor isn’t as sweet as the aroma; it exhibits a nice balance between sweet-tart cherries, wood, and a little acetic acid. Dry cherry finish. refreshing and quite easy to drink.
