Sep 18, 2004 Pours a beautiful ruby hue with a small rapbery colored head. Aromas of yeast and cherries. MOuthfeel is medium bodied with flavors of ummm.... cherries not as tart as many sour ale tend to be. A little dry, with little aftertaste.

Mar 14, 2004 red tinted transparent amber with a thin sheet of big bubbles...subtle malt drenched cherries, lightly metallic, not overly sour or even really sour at all..non-sour cherry aroma. "Kriek" is misleading.

Oct 31, 2004 Dark red color with no head. Cherry aroma. Very old, cherry taste, like they are old to the point of mushiness, but not so far gone that they are rotten. Odd presence of malt as well. It didn’t strike me as sour.

Sep 5, 2004 Distinctly red in colour. Not up to the standard of a lambic kriek in my view but, otherwise, just what you’d expect - woody, strong cherry character and some sour notes. Not too sweet. I just thought it fell away a little on the finish, which was quite dry and clean. A nice drink. Pump dispense at GBBF 2004.

Aug 19, 2004 Bottle. Best before 6-7-05. Poured a large pinkish fizzy head with fine-small sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. Soft carbonation, transparent and a red hue. Cherry, sweet and alcohol aroma. Sweet, acidic, cherry and alcohol flavor from start to finish. Tingly mouthfeel.

Oct 4, 2005 Pinkish head. Clear ruby/coppery red body, attractive.
Sweet bandaids, oaky sweet cherries.
Off-cardboard/bbq sauce and twig finish. That type of flavor, is on top of a sweet/sour cherry. Its like they tried to do a Rodenbach Alexander, but, its not as good.

Jan 12, 2005 As I was pouring a giant pink fizzy head erupted from the glass with audible fizziness atop a dark cherry colored clear body. After the head fizzled down quickly to a coating of bubbles there was no lace left about the glass. The aroma was of slightly sweet cherries and also quite a bit of tartness. Very sweet cherry flavor here similar to cherry syrup. The finish is tart and tangy with more cherry flavor. Mouthfeel here is a bit thin and the over carbonation doesn’t help either. I can see being in the mood for one of these but not drinking one after another.
