| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 9, 2005 11.2 oz bottle (best before 6/11/05). Ruby red color with medium head. The aroma is cherry, burnt cherry maybe. The flavor is also of burnt cherries. It is somewhat tart, woody, not too sweet, and a bit minerally. The flavor is similar to Quelque Chose. It’s not our favorite Verhaeghe beer but the brewery is still tops on our list. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal

From Verhaeghe you can expect good brews and thisone must be tasted again another day. Nice cherryaroma and flavor in the acidy way. Refreshing and not too sweet. TheGrandMaster (1871), Auckland, New Zealand
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 24, 2007 Draught at The Rake at London Bridge (London), a deep ruby red with a large pillowy pink head. Cherries (of course) in the aroma, but not too strong, but with a very good lambic-like sourness. A beautifully sour palate, though maybe a little bit sugary int he finish. The cherry isn;t too strong again, with a tannin-like feeling left in the mouth. Didn’t quite live up to the look and the smell, but still very nice. oh6gdx (9047), Vasa, Finland
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 24, 2006 Bottled. Ruby red colour, minor head. Aroma of cherry and alcohol (cherry liquor). Minor hints of burnt sugar. Flavour is strong cherry and alcohol. Some cookies in aftertaste. Strong cherry in aftertaste. Tasted almost like the sweet Madeira Wines on Madeira island. Brutal kriek, but yet again very nice. ehhdayton (1113), USA

Clear deep red to light ruby colored body with noisy carbonation. Fresh and sour, light vinegar-ish cherries in the aroma. Notes of wood anf cellar. Taste is less sour; cherries with an acidic twist and some barnyard notes. Crisp and lively mouthfeel. Dry fruity mineralic finish. A likeable quencher. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA
