Nose is fresh cherry, that great sweet smell with the promise of fresh, sourness behin it. The flavor does not dissapoint. It is sour cherry tasting, not the candy cherry flavor, real tart cherries. Very lively on the tongue with a dry finish thanks to the acids that are obviously present. A very refreshing drink, after a night of sake and homebrew tasting. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA

Tart and sweet cherry nose with some woody barnyard character. Strong cherry flavor with some fruit peel quality and a tart, puckering finish. Too sweet and lacking in depth. Like a cherry-laden horse that runs for the pink team. TBone (6850), Pori, Finland

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2006 Deep rich ruby red with an effervescent fast-fading pink head. Aromas of fresh mashed chokecherries (I’m serious-- this reminded me immediately of the smell in the kitchen when my dad made chokecherry jam when I was a kid) and something musty/earthy. Fresh sweet & sour cherry juice flavour with a definite sour finish that squeezes the saliva from your mouth in the first few sips. There is more here though, something woody and earthy and faintly yeasty too. Beguiling and different and quite good. Dedollewaitor (3764), Odense, Denmark
