Aroma consists of a load of cherries with some notes of oak. Taste is also a mix between loads of cherries that are sour but also lightly sweet but some light sour and tart notes with some oak presence also noticeable. Full body with some great carbonation and no appearance of alcohol. Very well done and definitely something I wish I could get more often. DenverLogan (421), MileHi, Colorado, USA

This is the Vichtenaar with cherries and you can taste the wood funkiness, tart sour cherries, slight wood and balsamic notes. I’ve had this in the bottle, on tap, cold, on ice and mulled. Fascinating and distinct brew. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA

Light cherry flavor. Excellent tartness. Not much acetic note at all. This is a very mouth watering beer which I could drink much more of. Much better beer than the Vichtenarr. Smooth lactic presence with a dry tart finish. Could use a bit more cherry to it, perhaps. Skinnyviking (4165), Copenhagen, Denmark

Mild sour cherries aroma with a bit of oak as well. Relatively sour cherries lemon flavor. Would not have guessed on such a high alcohol percentage. Low carbonation. Like the long sour aftertaste. Nice surprise. Fin (3449), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

Loz described this as like eating spangles where sometimes got you at the back of the mouth, I knew what she meant it was like that. Intensely dry at first but those cherries were so sharp lovely.
