Loz described this as like eating spangles where sometimes got you at the back of the mouth, I knew what she meant it was like that. Intensely dry at first but those cherries were so sharp lovely. 17thfloor (1485), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Strong woody tart sour cherry aroma. Sweet and tart. Extreme sour cherries with some wood and very little vinegar. Pretty straight forward for what it is. Medium body with very crisp soda like carbonation. Quafable.

Taste this more times this weekend. Dark red colour. Aroma cherries and malt. Not bad for a kriek with brown beer. Verhaeghe is good. Rynoplasty (536), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

Love that red coloring. There was little head and no sediment. The aroma was a bit too fruity for me. The flavor was very juicy, easy to drink with nice carbonation. the body was nice, not to syrupy. good sour ale indeed. Pwn3d (1073), Manhattan, New York, USA

Mild, pungent, fruity aroma - predominantly cherries and grapes. The flavor is more superficial than Duchess, with more cherries and a bit more tartness. Possibly a bit metallic / artificial. Still very good, but no Duchesse.
