Bottle from Utobeer, London. Nose of honey, malt, hops and spices. Pours a golden amber colour beer with a reasonable head and some lacing. Taste is quite sweet with citrus and spicy notes. Finishes quite dry. Quite average.

(25cl bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized, slowly lacing foamy white head. Slightly dusty, moderately sweet pale malt aroma, slightly wheaty and honey-fruity with notes of lemon. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied with slightly fizzy carbonation. Pale malt character, moderately fruity, zesty taste; quite dry, slightly bitter and spicy finish. Nothing special.

Bottle from beers of europe. Aroma is sweet pale malts and candy sugar, peppery more than spicey. Taste is a similar bag of banter, good carbonation, very drinkable.

Hazy golden with medium off white head. Spicy aroma with notes of yeast and toffee. Yeasty flavor coriander, toffee and fruits. Not your typical belgian christmas beer, but descent.

25 cL bottle, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium as #78 Noël/Christmas/Weihnacht. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Slight mouldy aroma. Flavour is sweet malty with a little metallic edge. Ends with a mellow yeasty and mild mouldy note. Nice but close to mediocre.

Leave it to a brewery known for its old browns to mark the holidays with a freshly hoppy blonde. My 25 cL pours old gold with a receding lacy head. Somewhat faint aroma is sweetish, caramel-malty. Flavor has a refreshing, earthy bitterness (for a Belgian) and light sweetness. Nice balance. Average carbonation is tight and leans toward lively. Maybe not special, but not bad at all.
