[At The Evening Star, Brighton] A yellow beer with a small disappearing white head. It has no aroma and the flavor is plain sweet with notes of straw. Boring.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Comes simply as Verhaeghe Pils. Clear yellow beer with a white head. Lightly malty and sulphurous aroma. Medium-bodied, some pale malts, unclean, light flowery notes and a dry, bitter finish. 221108

25 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small yet dense white head. Mild fruity and slight yeasty aroma. Flavour too is fruity and somewhat sweet. Light yeasty touch mixing in with a light acidic cornish note. Mild bitternes into the far finish.

Bottle, 5.1%. Weak vinous aroma. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is citric and vinous, not old-tasting. Has a little cardboard, too.

Bottled (Verhaeghe Pils, 5.1%). Yellow colour, small white head. Very active carbonation. Sweet malty and hoppy aroma with some herbal notes. Flavour is malty and hoppy, more to the sweeter side. Some buttery hints. A bit "bulk" feeling over it...
