| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 21, 2007 bottle - Pours up a clear, dark reddish-brown with a thin head. There’s a pleasantly tart, fruity aroma. The flavor initially struck me as rather sweet with lots of cherries, then the sweetness was soon join by mildly tart tones including apples. There’s also a bit of spice in there. Medium bodied with a tart finish, this is a very tasty sour ale. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 11, 2007 Bottle: Dark brown and possibly clear if it wasn’t so dark with a medium tan head. The aroma is tangy, fruity, yeasty and sour creamy (to complete the "y" endings). It has a great flavor or Jolly Green ranchers - apple flavor. This is followed by a board aftertaste which goes into a slightly metallic finish. I don’t prefer the finish, but the superior quality of aroma and taste cause me to go back for another sip. pours a purple amber with a large lasting head. spicey curry like note mixes with a sweet caramel and an underlying sourness to make a truly unique aroma that is pleasing confusing and inviting. tart berry flavor hits me first, but wait there’s more. cotton candy and cherries mix with a cola flavor, there is a smoothness to all of this that amazing. every flavor melts into each other. a very mild sourness is evident throughout this, the wood is very light, but i think that bit of vanilla helps bring this all together. lumpy can expect this one in his next package from me. beermouth (435), Langeskov, Denmark

Sour apples, rotting fruit aroma tempered by some sweetness.
Tart start with a building spicy sweetness towards the finish. Smooth, quite nice.
