muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Jun 9, 2008 Draught pint at the brewpub, May 2008. Pours a very pale clear gold with a small, lasting snowy cap and a touch of lacing....on first nosing, powerful pils malt, Saaz hops dominate and I wonder if it’s the wrong beer, but on further examination potent rye character slowly surfaces, along with a hint of lemongrass and pepper....the body is light and airy and pils-like as well, but the sharp and spicy grain is always apparent, and the crisp and peppery finish is just wonderful. A very solid lighter summer rye, one I could drink all day.
