Oct 10, 2005 Now called Rocktoberfest. Pours dark copper with no head. Smells rosey. Taste is of caramel and slightly bitter with a tarte cherry like finish.

Sep 29, 2002 Nov 01: VERY hoppy for an Oct; some nice caramel notes in the flavor and (weak) nose; nice deep orange color, small head; nothing special. Sept 02: the re-trashing (rerating I mean) continues. Didn’t get much real Octoberfest, or real malt character for that matter; hoppy, dry, thinnish, stylistically way off and just not very drinkable or good.
