Vermont Pub Ol Brown Jug Ale

Light mahogany in color with a small white head.Hoppy,spicy notes, and malty.No real nut or roasted character,not your typical brown ale.

Draft pint. Not entirely sure this is different from their other brown, but the bartender assured me it was, and who was I to argue? Anyway, it's very creamy and Newcastle-like on the pour, not terribly nutty, rather sweet, slightly musty in the finish, with little nose. Subpar for the Pub.

Hazy amber color with thin white head. Spicy notes in nose. Earthy flavor with lingering earthy/spicy aftertaste. A slight orange tinge appears during the swallow. Very tasty!
