| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Tap @ the Mini Beer Fest... Poured golden/orange with a white head. Aroma was faint, with hops a fruit notes. Very balanced and drinkable. A melon-like fruit character endorsed the malts and citrusy hops. Sugary, bread-like malt finish. glkaiser (1172), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 17, 2009 On tap at Bailey’s early 2009. Would never have guessed this was 6.1% and 76 IBUs; drinks very, very light. Light citrus hops backed by thin slightly sweet malts. Mild bitterness. Too many other good IPAs out there to bother with this. Could be an "off" batch from this small brewery. Beardface (1036), Eugene, Oregon, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 19, 2009 On tap at Bailey’s Taproom in Portland. Pours a honey colored yellow with a very small white head. Honey and citrus fruit in the nose with a bit of syrup as well. Mouth is very cloying and thick, almost like a light syrup. The hops are there, mostly in a citrus light but they get buried under that cloying syrup feeling. Very disappointed in this one. raphael (419), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 10, 2009 On tap at Bailey’s. Hop aroma mix more citrus than pine, some caramel.amberish yellow, with a thin head. crisp in the mouth, and lighter in weight. Hops dominate the flavor, mostly in blaance, a little clash of pine & grapefruit favors. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 29, 2008 Draft at OBriens in Hillsboro. Filtered clear honey colored body with a small white head. Crisp and wet honey-scented green apple hops in the nose, with sweet and syrupy vegetal celery notes as well. Resinous pine, lightly crisp but still wet and oily, and overall it lacks depth and is plainly simple. Boring hop character in a region known for hops.
