Pours deep brown amber with a big, creamy, yelloeish beige head. Sweet, bready, malty aroma with good notes of caramel and a fruity strawberry edge. Fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly vinious, good chewy maltiness with a light sticky sweetness to it. Maria (3788), Thisted, Denmark Jun 15, 2008 The color is very beautiful, red-brown with a golden head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruity hops, papaya, raisin and caramel. The mouthfeel is semi-oily. The flavour has sweetness, notes of caramel, syrup, fruit, papaya, raisin and a light bitterness. It manages to be both heavy and sweet and light and refreshing. It’s definitely the best Willemoes I have had – it’s surprisingly nice.
