Commercial Description:
Willemoes Ale with licorice. The ale is produced from the finest Dansih malt, brewed with top fermenting yeast, and the finest hop from American hop plants. The taste is balanced with brown sugar and licorice, so the right balance between sweetness and body is gained.

Bottle. Thin greyish head leaving fine laces. Dark red-brown color. Not that aromatic; whiffs of sweetish, toasted malts and red fruits. Sweet malty taste, well-spiced with a plummy fruitiness. Healthy body. Mild spices in the finish.

0,5lt Bottle found at Kvickly in Herning. My first Herb beer if I am not mistaken. Sweet malty with licorice notes. Not bad

Pours dark copper with a small, foamy head. Sweet aroma with notes if liquorice. Flavour is sweet and spicy with more liquorice.

Bottle 50 cl, bought in Ebeltoft. An interesting ale, a bit sweet but nevertheless a beer I would like to try again.
