(Had it @ Vetter Brauhaus) Hazy orange amber body with a small off white head. Smell was some malts and butterscotch but very faint. Taste was a bit off for a marzen. The malty sweet flavor didn’t jump out at you but maybe that’s because I had some food with it. I will re-rate this sometime to get a better feel for this one.

Tap. Cloudy orange, lacing offwhite head. Light perfumed hop notes. Medium to light body. Fruity base, grassy light citric hop counter. Süffig could use a bit more chewyness though.

[on tap at brewpub] Caramel and melanoidiny aroma with some butterscotchy diacetyl that seems to work. Hazy orange-brown with an excellent bubbly top. Quite a bit of dicateyl butter in the flavour along with a green-beer sourness not helped by sort of rancidy hops. Quite sweet too. Medium body, low carbonation, tangy finish.

Draught Fully hazy amber-orange with small, orangey head. Toasted, roasted as well, very lightly leafy, but shy. Very strange taste, spicy or herbal, seems not totally fermented out, half worts, all hints of intermediary yeast products. Titillating, but all the same unpleasant MF, slick. Very poor beer. Vetter’s looks like a true tourist trap to me.

Draught. Hazy golden colour with an off-white head. Fruity malty and slightly grainy aroma, with some sourness in the background. Sweet malty flavor with some fruity hints. Also some grainy hints. Malty finish with some bitterness.

Draught. Cloudy pale golden colour. Small creamy head. Mild flavour, a little citric/fruity. Mouthfeel is very pleasant, semi-creamy with low carbonation. Not too much flavour, but very high drinkability.
