Oct 11, 2009 Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Bov. Dark ruby with a fizzy head. Leather, mineral water, dried apple, macadamia nuts, cork, faint acetone and glue in the nose. Extremely light bodied for a beer of 7.8 ABV. Watery. A lot of cork on the swallow. The finish is also reminiscent of cork. Strange. An alcoholic stout which wants to be a watery lager- strange. Dissapointing. Thanks Bov!

Mar 8, 2005 Interesting nose with a bit of salted nuts and meat. fruit is sudued again somewht salty briney and lightly smoked.

Aug 9, 2003 amber-blond colour, fine head and a nice lacing, a touch of fruitness, moderate maltiness with notes of smoked bacon in the background, the body is quite thin for this ABV but it shows some subtility, the finish is really dry and smokey - the first interesting beer from this brewery
