@ Kerstbierfestival Essen (B). A dark brown colored beer, with thick foamy beige head. The aroma of caramel with bitter, fruits and hints of chocolate. The taste of sweet dark fruits with hops with flavors of chocolate. The aftertaste is sweet moving over to bitter.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and evenly of structure. The beer also contained no carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a thick dark brown color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppybitter with a roasted malty touch. This beer smells drop like.

From tap, Kerstbier Festival 2009. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is dry, phenolic and slight wooden. Sweet malty and slight wineous flavoured. Dry fruity and phenolic flavoured before the finish. Ends dry and slight spiced. Lasting spiced and dry impression into the far finish.

Bottle, 75 cl, . Dark brown/reddish colour, Unstable beige head. Fruity and sugary smell. Taste: dark fruits, caramel, drop, plums, sugary with bitter aftertaste. Very nice brew! I should drink this one again!

Bottle, 75 cl, shared with Parket. Dark beer with a red shine, little white head wgich fades aways fast. Aroma is sweet, caramel, drop and spicy. Malty, sweet, taste, some caramel/chocolate on the background, spicy finish with some light hops also. One of the better Christmas beers I already drunk.

Small, dark-cream head, fading over dark-brown beer. Amandine, dark, but sweet chocolate and an impression of bitter almonds; other tasters speak about aniseed and liquorice. Sweet-bitter flavour with the above aromas petering out into the taste. Sweetness is a bit molasses-like, but nowhere cloying. Nice, if not really my favourite flavourprofile.
