Never ever liked this beer. First time I ever tasted it, I was reminded of a Fosters that had been left overnight, and had a cigarette extinguished in the can. It hasn’t improved. Drunk Extra Cold (as all Australian mass-market beers are designed to be) its bearable

Poured a tawny yellow with a bug head that fell down into fine lace. Nose was sweet, familiar somehow, and led into a quenching mouthfeel. A whisper of hops and a rewarding swallow that left little to be desired.

when i say funky, i mean it smelled bad. ouch. I was expecting it to be a bitter as the name suggests but oh no, its just another bad pale lager. The taste is acidic and bubbly and sweet and has a bleachy aftertaste. Rank, dont buy it.

Bottled. Clear, pale golden with a nice white head. Malty, grassy and hayish aroma. A bit fruity flavor with grass, grain and malt. Thin to medium body, and some bitterness in the end to defend it’s name, else it is grainy. Original rating stands, new rating 060825: 3-3-3-2-8-1.9 (051029)

A little flavorless too, but it was nice to see it was not an ale, like it sugests a little in the name. The foam was there but not as much. It was not really bitter.

It just don´t get any worse than this. This is crap and nothing but crap. Has a sour, unpleasant aroma, with some hints of garbage. Sticky, honeyish, mouthfeel. This shit is attacking your palate, and shows no mercy. The carbonation is far too high, there is almost no head, it looks like (and taste) like catpiss.
