Commercial Description:
Victoria Bitter has been Australia's favorite full strength beer brand for many years. VB, as it is widely known, was launched in the 1890s and since then has developed a reputation as a great beer with a tradition of rewarding Australians who work and play hard.

this beer is vile, the smell and taste is rancid, a couple of years ago i was able to tolerate it but now it is rendered totally undrinkable. how is this rubbish the highest selling beer in Australia? i'd drink XXXX over this...

I cant say that I expected an exeptionel beer experience with this bitter, but say say, this was not bad at all. The bitterness is the best thing about this beer, maybee some good malt could give some sweetness.

Head that collapses into a film on top of the pale yellow body. Nondescript aroma. Thin palate. Somewhat sweet flavour hint of bitter, nasty ass chemical aftertaste.

The general of ausralian beers, strong bitter flavour. Is harsh and rough around the edges but highly respected and consumed by its followers, mainly due to loyalty and routine.

Certainly not a bitter, a boring Aussie lager, one small step above Fosters in that it is actually drinkable if served VERY cold.

(375 ml bottle.) Sweetish orange-like aroma. Flavour is mostly bitterness - more than in Foster's and Castlemaine, but not really pleasant. Will not be a regular beer of mine this one.

A good way to cleanse the palate between drinking quality ales. This just bites, and is completely undrinkable, and that is me being generous.
