Golden with a nice and rather creamy head. Aroma is hoppy and with some citrus. Has a maild and fruity flavor. Ends with a sweet finish that brings some almond late. | 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Nov 30, 2003 Oz has much better brews to offer than this one. I think I know where the term 'piss' for beer came from. It does the job on a hot WA afternoon in the summer though. lobsha (1), USA does not count | 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Oct 25, 2003 Quite a bland beer. Usually the first beer a young boy or girl will drink on the mainstream, however the taste and aftertaste is very poor and can result in one being sick. Quite a bitter taste, and is only good for a cheap piss up. Muggus (193), Sydney, Australia
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 9, 2003 Definately not my favourite tap, stubbie, or can beer by any means. Goes down easy, especially ice cold on a hot day out, and has a bitter hint of character that gives it a little something over its cousin the Tooheys New. Definately a beer to quench the thirst, just don't let it get too warm, not an enjoyable warm beer by any means!
