Commercial Description:
Victoria Bitter has been Australia's favorite full strength beer brand for many years. VB, as it is widely known, was launched in the 1890s and since then has developed a reputation as a great beer with a tradition of rewarding Australians who work and play hard.

A great comercial mainstream beer but a poor flavoured beer. Very bland, sweet and uninspiring.

I prefer this over crowns or carlton draught but its still not good. CUB beers are just full stop - not good, more time spent on chemicals and marketing than producing good lagers. VB is popular, but does that make it good - I dont think so. cheers

Best served at 0C from a stubby preferably whilst in the shower. Sure, it’s no good when it warms up but that’s not what it’s about. I’ll gladly drink several, which is a lot more than I can say for many of the local micros in these parts. If you rate this 0.5 or so you’re kidding yourself. And you’ve gotta respect the advertising, at least.

This beer has a light yellow body - hue with a bitter initial flavor and a light body.

Bottled. If I'd been sitting in the sun in Australia, I'd probably had loverd this one. Rather bitter and sourish and a lot of carbonation.

A tragedy that this beer is Australias favourite. Only bearable when ice cold.

Bottle: Drunk at room temp. Pours a yellowish color with thin fizzy head. Easy to drink with not much going on. Light hops and malts. Good on hot days of course.

So cheap and easy to drink. The flavours are pretty plain but its clear appearance makes it great to drink on hot days.
