trancecyclist (5), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA does not count Apr 25, 2009 On tap at The Drafting Room’s Hopfest (Spring House, PA). An odd, somwhat off-putting aroma, but a delicious floral taste on the palate. Hops are somewhat in the background and the floral taste (a bit like jasmine tea) predominates over the hop bitterness. Very tasty. One of Victory’s better beers. beastiefan2k (1590), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA Jan 2, 2009 Cask @ Brazen Head, labeled as Centennial. Pours a clear yellow color with a thick cask head. Aroma is armpit and grassy hops. Flavor is grassy as well. Body is a bit thicker and lightly undercarbonated as expected from cask. It seems I need to retry this on draft, the cask may not be so special. agl108 (503), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 19, 2008 On draft at Teresa’s. Poured clear orange with thin head and slight lacing. Piney nose. Nice citrus, resiny hop bite and plenty bitter finish. Very nice IPA. adrian910ss (1395), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 30, 2008 On draft at the GL. Pours a clear orange gold with a small white head. Aroma of tangy citrus(grapefruit), lots of hops and barley. Taste of tangy orange citrus, light grapefruit and hops. Similar to Hop Wallop. afireinside96 (809), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 5, 2008 On cask at the Victory brewpub. Hazy gold topped by a creamy white head. Floral, grassy, citrus nose. Taste is pine, citrus, grass. Lots of bitterness. Yummy. Jsawyer (282), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 4, 2008 Cask. Amber body perfect white head. Sweet floral hop aroma, although with 132 pounds of hops I was expecting and wanting more. Flavor was light; citrus, pine, honey, overall very smooth. lasting bitter finish. Light carbonation, and nice lacing. Good beer but I felt like the hops should’ve been showcased a little more, but that’s my preference. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 26, 2008 Draft on cask. Slight hazy deep gold pour with off-white head. Nose is piney hops, citrus, pineapple, grapefruit. Crisp, hoppy flavor with caramel malt, lots of tropical citrus fruit, and piney resiny notes. Very good. TomDecapolis (3130), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 18, 2008 Cask at Victory. Pours a translucent golden with a medium creamy off white head that laced. Aroma of pine, floral notes, orange, grassy, grapefruit and cereal grains. Flavor of the same with a nice smooth hop bitterness. The fresh centennial hops are really showcased in this beer.
