| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Sep 11, 2008 I’m not sure that this is really a 4.2 beer, but a glass at the brewery, fresh from the cask, pulled with a hand pump, was a pretty remarkable thing. The head, the lacing, and the palate of a hand pulled beer is just wonderful and it probably adds a couple of tenths to the overall rating; bottled, or even kegged, it might not be quite the same. Taste and nose are in harmony, floral hops, bitter hops, citrus hops, sweet caramel, malts, and more hops.
