| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Sep 11, 2008 I’m not sure that this is really a 4.2 beer, but a glass at the brewery, fresh from the cask, pulled with a hand pump, was a pretty remarkable thing. The head, the lacing, and the palate of a hand pulled beer is just wonderful and it probably adds a couple of tenths to the overall rating; bottled, or even kegged, it might not be quite the same. Taste and nose are in harmony, floral hops, bitter hops, citrus hops, sweet caramel, malts, and more hops. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

An odd, somwhat off-putting aroma, but a delicious floral taste on the palate. Hops are somewhat in the background and the floral taste (a bit like jasmine tea) predominates over the hop bitterness. Very tasty. One of Victory’s better beers. afireinside96 (838), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA
