Experienced via draft in a nonnic glass. The beer pours a too-light amber color, out of style for a dubbel (the beer was, however, advertised as a Belgian pale ale at the pub). The nose was a disappointment, lacking any sort of malt character other than a note of grainyness, and giving yeast-derived esters that were less than appealing. The palate was an improvement, giving notes of fruit up front, followed by some pilsner-derived sweetness, a bit of character malt (and I do mean a bit), and a slightly fruity finish. Overall, not a terrible beer, but not what I was expecting from Victory.

Tap. Light pour for a "dubbel". Looked more like a single to me. Spicy, yeasty nose and flavor. Like a Golden Monkey Light. Much better than the 8. Not bad at all...

Poured a medium amber with no head. This had a belgian yeast nose. Flavor was lots candied sugars, coriander, and strong belgian yeast notes. Finish was on the dry side. Decent depth of flavor

On Draft at the Brewpub in Downingtown, PA. Pours clean bronze. Aroma is... too light to tell. The taste is hop, kind of boring.

On tap a brewpub. This is actually a Belgian single. Bitter mouth with a slight Belgian feel. Some spices, not a fan

On tap at the brewpub. Clear orange amber with a small white head. Sweet yeasty nose, fruity and lightly spiced. Yeasty flavor, fruity citrus and brown sugar. A nice drinker.

Ver good indeed. Aroma as you would expect. Flavor has the Belgian slant of spiciness and sweetness. Nice loking and tasty.
