Nov 21, 2009 TAP: gold pour, no head. Coriander on the nose, same on taste, thin body. Tastes metallic. I’m hoping there was something wrong with this sample/pour, because this seemed like a pretty weak attempt at a dubbel.

Oct 19, 2009 On tap @ Victory. Clear amber brown with an off white head. Sweet yeasty aroma, very earthy and a candy sugar sweetness. Mostly sweet flavor with some hop bitterness and some sourness too. Medium body with mild carbonation and an extremely smooth well balanced finish.

Aug 20, 2009 [2375-20090801] Sample. Mild dog fur aroma and petrol and grains. Clear, golden orange body with a quick bubbly white head. More generic grainy malt in the flavour. Medium body. Doesn’t seem to be in wonderful shape.

Aug 12, 2009 A decent offering from Victory. On tap at Coopers. Belgians are not my favorite but I like Victory so I really wanted to sample this one. Now that I did....I can forget about it just as quickly as I drank it.

Aug 5, 2009 2009-08-01. Dark orange amber body with a modest beige head. (3+) Aroma is surprisingly mild, touches of dry malt. (6+) Flavour is similar, pleasant dry malt, lightly alcoholic finish. Toasty malt touches. Modest malty base. Average plus palate. (3+) Enjoyably quaffable, but relatively mild and fails to wow in a crowd of much bolder beers. Still, I could seeing drinking a few of these in an evening quite happily. Seems like a cross between a dubbel and an abbey ale perhaps? On tap at BCTC 2009

Pouring at their booth at BCTC. Pours a clear light caramel color. Caramel and candy on the nose. Medium bodied and sweet, with a touch of grain before a light bitter finish.
