WeeHeavySD (2941), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Aug 7, 2009 Tap at Barcade. Glad to see this. Pours yellow with a bright white ring. Light slightly malty nose. Taste is sweet, malty rich and amazingly drinkable. blipp (1631), Newark, New Jersey, USA Jun 30, 2009 Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Malty aroma with a moderate amount of sweetness and some toast. The flavor is malty sweet with lighter notes of toast and bread. Decent. Pwn3d (1040), Manhattan, New York, USA Jun 7, 2009 Had awhile back at PJs [copper lager] - didnt realize it was a victory at first. Poured a dark copper body with small head. The aroma was light, but sweet. The taste is smooth with some malt in the finish. BarrysHomebrew (11), , Pennsylvania, USA May 14, 2009 What can be said about lager? dry and clean with a slight nutty finish. From the looks of other reviews, many pubs don’t understand that unpasteurized lager has to always be cold or it will spoil. Make sure it is fresh! Nejhleader (924), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 27, 2009 Got at the Coliseum in camp hill. house brew made by victory. Body was a little thin had a slight citrus taste to it a hint of hops. Earlier Rating: 4/3/2007 Total Score: 2.7 I wasn’t really impressed with this. body seemed thin, not much of an aroma, had a bit of a sweet taste to it, but nothing much other than that. imadeadguy (378), back in NJ!, New Jersey, USA Mar 5, 2009 Tap at PJ’s. Pour is amber with fluffy white head. Aromas of grain and not much else. Flavor is that of a Yuengling with a fart in it. Blech! I had to choke this one down. Terrible. keepersj12 (774), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA Mar 3, 2009 For a lager, this is as good as it gets. Nice pretty dark amber pour. Typical lager aroma. Nice for a hot summer day. JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Oct 9, 2008 Copper color with a moderate off-white head. Scent of dry caramel, and herbal hops. Flavors of stale grain and toast. Just did not set well with me. Some DMS and perhaps bad line qualities. Mostly a drain pour. At least the bartender let me keep the glass.
