Commercial Description:
Superbly balanced, this authentic version of a German Export-style lager satisfies gloriously. Full, German malts and fine European hops offer subtle harmony. Patient brewing practices and careful aging make it smooth and satisfying.

Oooooh, this is soooo refreshing. Medium/thin body - fruity sweet malts, easy drinking - I wish I had found this at the beginning of the summer instead of September. Not nearly as hoppy as GreatLakes Dortmunder - probably makes this a better "lawnmowin’ beer" nice.

(BB 10/18/02) Super thick head. Very clear. The nose is teeming with German hops. This beer taste very fresh. In comparison to Old Dominion the Victory seems a bit lighter. Well made and very quaffable. A good blend of malt and hops.

Lemon yellow color with a healthy dose of carbonation. Thin white head with no visible lace. Aromas of malt mixed with some vanilla bean. Impressive mallty body with a nice, crisp hoppy snap. Smooth and dryish finish. Somewhat plisner-like in flavor. Quite the refreshing summer beer.

A good lager. A little too much on the sweet side for my taste. Serve this to your friends who normally drink macro-brewed, American lagers. They should really like it as a crossover brew.

Sparkling golden color; fresh malty nose. Clean, soft and very easy on the palate. A little sour/tart thing going on that really kept my interest. Relatively speaking, very flavorful and well-balanced. Delicate, yet bold for a ’lighter’ beer.
