Medium/thin body - fruity sweet malts, easy drinking - I wish I had found this at the beginning of the summer instead of September. Not nearly as hoppy as GreatLakes Dortmunder - probably makes this a better "lawnmowin’ beer" nice. RAUCHFEST (122), PROSPECT PARK, Pennsylvania, USA

This beer taste very fresh. In comparison to Old Dominion the Victory seems a bit lighter. Well made and very quaffable. A good blend of malt and hops. igneous1 (1374), Davenport, Iowa, USA

Aromas of malt mixed with some vanilla bean. Impressive mallty body with a nice, crisp hoppy snap. Smooth and dryish finish. Somewhat plisner-like in flavor. Quite the refreshing summer beer. hopscotch (5510), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Serve this to your friends who normally drink macro-brewed, American lagers. They should really like it as a crossover brew. Aubrey (2778), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 13, 2002 Sparkling golden color; fresh malty nose. Clean, soft and very easy on the palate. A little sour/tart thing going on that really kept my interest. Relatively speaking, very flavorful and well-balanced. Delicate, yet bold for a ’lighter’ beer.
