A little sweet up front, but sour and musty in the finish. I enjoyed it, and for those who have tried Boulevard Bob’s 47, this is surprisingly similar. bmanLS (114), Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 11, 2003 Golden pour, short lasting head, light on the carbonation with a mild bite going down. Not much of an aroma but this is a good tasting malt lager. TheBeerGod (3163), Newport News, Virginia, USA

Nose is crisp and grassy with some hops and malt dominant. Smells like a maltier European lager. The taste is a clean lightly hopped malt surprise. I was not expecting it to be this good. I was betting on an average lager and got a nice treat. Ernest (4497), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 26, 2003 Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body
is clear medium yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (bread, cookie),
moderately hoppy (flowers), with a note of honey. Flavor is moderately
sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Rich malt aroma with
very pleasant hop support (some Hallertauer, I'll wager). This doesn't
get my pulse racing like Wolnzacher's, but it's pretty authentic. aaronh (201), McMurray, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 27, 2003 This is an excellent lager. It pours a nice deep golden color with a thin white head which dissipates fairly quickly and leaves no lace. The aroma is clean and fruity, with bread-like overtones. The taste is malty and smooth, with enough hops to clean the palate. The finish is very clean, with just a hint of a fruity aftertaste. Color is a medium/light gold color. Flavor is quick thick and smooth with huge malts again. A little bready. Finish is creamy and smooth and leaves a coating in the mouth. Beer is good but a little bland and boring and nothing special as far as I am concerned. PorterPounder (3146), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 25, 2003 Pours a very light golden appearance with little to no head whatsoever. Detect a bit of maltiness in the aroma - but you have to really dig down deep. Excellent flavor - very tangy with some bitterseet notes. Has sort of a lemony taste to it - quite pleasant and refreshing. Good pleasant mouthfeel. Would make a good back porch summer beer. Aurelius (2652), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 25, 2003 This was an unusual beer, but I enjoyed it. Lemony yellow beer, clipartish label. A citrus, floral, vegetable flavor that was unusual but enjoyable. Grainy whiffs on the intake. Nutty, dry malt, moderately bitter finish with some orange peel.
