I expected more from Victory. The color is pretty good, but overall, I didn't care for this one all that much. BrewEd (182), Wilmington, North Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 1, 2003 Sweet, malty nose. Excellent - almost perfect - balance of malt and hops for a lager. As mentioned previously the mouthfeel is slightly grainy which is a slight detractor. LiebeBier (793), Annapolis, Maryland, USA

What a consistent beer. Tastes like beer should. That's what a true hard working man's beer. It's the lager everyone should drink. Sturgess (173), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 23, 2003 Victory is a real man's brewery, not for the light of palate. Much hops in all of their recipes make them the best brewery out of Pennsylvania. argo0 (7025), Washington DC, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 29, 2003 Light amber body with small off-white head. Aroma is nicely grassy and floral, with light malty undertones and a hint of medicine. Taste is mildly bitter up front, grassy and floral; mid body is somewhat sweet and fruity (orange), with light spice and the grassy hops lurking in the background; the finish sees the return of the hops slightly stronger than the rest of the beer, but never overwhelming. Nice summer beer. tbookman (618), Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 28, 2003 Light copper color - very clear with a rich head that disappears quickly. Kinda overcarbonated I think, which hides the flavor. Sorta comes across like a lawnmower beer, fairly smooth witha light hoppiness and sweet. Kind of a grainy mouthfeel that detracted from the brew. Not Victory's best. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 24, 2003 Nice golden color with a light reddish tinit to it.Small head.Malty sweet aroma, with a faint hop presence.Very malty taste slight grapefruit hint towards the end with a definate hop presence that comes through loud and clear. The carbonation is right on the money. The finish is malty sweet with a slight hop bitterness. Now this is a fine brew,i only wish i had more access to the victory line "sigh" i'll just have to keep trading for them i guess. This one is courtesy of urbnhautebourg thanks for the brew. sloth (1686), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA
