May 1, 2003 Light copper; herbal, grassy, mossy hop nose with biscuity malts. A little fizzy for the style, grainy, with a soft grassy note. The aroma is good dortmunder, but the palate comes up short.

May 1, 2003 Dark golden color with a light white head. Aroma is grassy with a slight touch of hops. Body is sweet and grassy. Light crisp hops kick in, finishes bitter.

Apr 29, 2003 Nice hops/malt balance. Only a bit rubbery. Small off-white head and bright clear amber liquid. Light medium carbonation and medium watery body. Good malt quality. Decent hops with nice bittering. Smooth finish and after. Well-balance lager.

Apr 27, 2003 Not a bad brew from Victory but it tasted to me like a weak american ale not a Helles. Wouldnt buy it compared to their other products solely but in a sampler it is a nice switch.

Apr 13, 2003 This one pours a clear, golden color with a small, diminishing, white, fizzy head. The aroma is moderately hoppy with a lightly malty backbone. Light body with medium carbonation, it has a dry texture with an initially lightly sweet flavor and a light, bitter finish. This is a great lager, smooth, flavorful and very quenching.

Mar 21, 2003 Lightly bitter noble hop aroma. Body is clear and crisp with a nice balance of Munich malt. Finish is hoppy and semi-sweet. A good smooth session beer.
