biznizness (930), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Apr 4, 2009 Bach party, draft. It’s really astounding how many lighter ales and lagers Victory had on tap. Blonde ale, vienna, 3 or 4 pils, etc. But they were all good, and this was no exception. jeff789 (359), Pennsylvania, USA Mar 12, 2009 Clear amber color, nice standard looking vienna... Sweet bready aroma... Malty, slightly sweet a bit dry, a very nice vienna lager... I definitely prefer this to the V lager that is bottled... keepersj12 (774), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA Mar 3, 2009 For the style, this is pretty good. Not a lot of aroma, mostly bread, yeast, malt. Flavor is malty sweetness. A bit thin. Pretty good though. obxdude10 (1546), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 29, 2009 This is a fantastic Vienna-style lager. It pours an absoutle clear amber color with a soft but generous white head. This beer leaves quite a bit of sticky lacing to the edges of the glass. The aroma is full of bready malts, with deep and rich notes of toast, light caramel, earth and flowery hops. The body was full and delicious, with flavor notes of bread, yeast, toffee and light caramel. The finish was a little dry and hoppy, with a smooth and silky sweet and malty flavor. This is one lager that could survive at Oktoberfest. Dickinsonbeer (3434), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Jan 25, 2009 .5 liter at Victory. Pours clear ambery copper with a full off white sticky tight head and great lace. Aroma has tons of fresh bready malts, medium toast munich and caravienna, light crackery hint, and fresh spicy hops. Flavor is full of fresh tasted malts, baked french bread, and toasted/honey malts- moderately sweet with light caramel and a nice spicy hop balance - good clean and smooth finish. Another great Lager from Victory. LiebeBier (788), Annapolis, Maryland, USA Jan 25, 2009 Draft at Victory - A nice lager, but this one has a funky almost pungent flavor. Aroma is bready and malty which didn’t seem to translate to the beer. An overly complex flavor. michael-pollack (2604), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 19, 2008 Draught at Victory: Aroma of toasting, slight chocolate, malts, and slight roasting. Poured amber in color with a small, off-white head. Sparkling. Slightly hazy. Good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malts, lager yeast, toasting, slight alcohol, dough, and nuts. Medium body. Smooth, oily texture. Soft to average carbonation. Malty, slightly boozy finish. gcare02 (2), , Pennsylvania, USA does not count Oct 21, 2008 Not too much my style, but this was a pretty good vienna style lager. Nice copper appearance with a nice lager bitter finish.
