Had as Braumesiter Select Pils. The beer pours out a deathly pale yellow, small ivory white head. Aroma was celery salt, light herbal type hop. Flavor had some odd earthy/lemony thing going on. Clean finish. Fairly refreshing beer.

Tasted at the May Northern California Beer Tasting. This kellerbier pours a yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal and grainy, a touch wheaty. A medium bodied zwickel style beer. The malts are cereal and grainy, slightly sweet. The hops are spicy. Lively carbonation. Nice balance. Kind of bitter with a very dry finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Tasted from bottle at Sean and Ryan’s party. Pale yellow color. Good pilsner. Lightly hoppy. Clean tasting with no off flavors. Was told at party that Prima Pilsner is the best. I need to go try that.

Draft at the brewery: pour is golden amber with a white head, some hops in the aroma but I couldn’t pick up a lot else, taste was mildly hoppy, smooth and dry. Very nice beer and the first one in this style for me.
