TomDecapolis (3130), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 5, 2009 Tap at Victory pours a hazy yellow
with a medium creamy white head that laced. Aroma of lemon zest, tart wheat notes, light banana and cloves. Flavor of a mouthful of lemon zest, orange, light banana and crisp wheat. jredmond (1015), New Jersey, USA Jul 24, 2009 Sampled at the Brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy yellow body with small white head. The aroma is solid. The taste is pine hops, overall a refreshing hefe. boto (1319), Granby, Connecticut, USA Jul 16, 2009 Draught @ Victory: This one pours a cloudy straw yellow color. It had a thick, fluffy white head that left some lacing. The aroma is quite good. Wheat, citrus, grassy, clove are the main ones. The taste is good. Wheat, a touch of citrus, spices. There is a dry finish with a touch of bitterness. Nice. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 16, 2009 Draft at brewpub. Pours hazy deep gold with fluffy white head and clingy lace. Nose is heavy bubblegum, banana, clove, hopcit. Taste isn’t quite as bold as the nose, but the flavors are crisp and well defined, a medley of clovey spice, hopcitrus, banana, and Bazooka. Very solid. JoeMcPhee (4893), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Jul 11, 2009 Tap at the Blind Tiger. Pale yellow, very cloudy pour with a thick white head. The aroma is great. Nice pronounced herbal/spicy hop aroma. Quite a light wheatiness on the back as well. There is a bit of vanilla and light clove, but none of the banana that I normally associate with this style. Lingering spicy flavour on the back. Soft wheaty palate up front. A little bit of cotton candy sweetness on the back. Soft palate... sort of like pilsner meets American wheat ale. It’s pretty nice. puzzl (2579), New York, New York, USA Jul 6, 2009 Tap at the Blind Tiger. Sweet, banana chips aroma, chewy and bright. Mild, light, wheaty flavor, with a nice hoppy finish. Smooth and easy drinking, this one was built for non-adventurous drinkers but does what it does very well. Quite tasty, would be a great summer beer. TheCaptain (526), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 27, 2009 On tap at the Vic- Hazy caramel yellow, small white head that fizzes out, some lacing. Light hops and flour/grain on the pallet.
