Aug 30, 2008 Poured a clear amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of nuts, metal, caramel, and some toasted malts. Taste of toasty dough, caramel malts, grains, some nuts, with light fruitiness, and low bitterness in the finish.

Aug 26, 2008 pours golden orange. clear with a light white head. aromas of fruit, malt, grain. flavor is slightly bitter with a predominant grainy, malty characteristic. aftertaste lingers with a bitter hoppiness and malt notes.

Aug 23, 2008 Draft at the brewpub: pours a nice dark amber color with a frothy white head, aroma of grains and a bit of the hops, taste is malty, some bitterness and just a small touch of sweetness. Very nice stuff.
