Commercial Description:
The tastiest dark brew since the rollicking days of the infamous Donnybrook Fair, Donnybrook Stout offers unparalleled refreshment for an ale so deep in flavor and intrigue. Fresh, whole flower British and Slovenian hops provide the proper, earthy hint of 'the auld sod' while deep roasted barley and low alcohol keep Donnybrook Stout clean, smooth and flavorful. Served on mixture of 75% nitro and 25% CO2.

Watery, weak, tastes like Guinness. A hint of roastedness, but its barely there. Pretty pitiful, but nothing offensive.

Nitro pint at Trappeze. Pours reddish black with a firm, creamy head. The aroma is very dry with suggestions of sourdough and dark chocolate. This beer is really light on the palate, but is super creamy and doesn’t skimp on flavor. Hints of nuts, buttermilk, chocolate, and a dry, lingering wooden finish are here. I was in the mood for a light session beer and this one delivers in that department.

Brewed in the USA..... On tap at the Brewery !!! Pours a very dark brown color with an awesome tan head. Aroma of chocolate and malts. Taste is of chocolate, roasted malts and a hint of coffee. The mouthfeel is super creamy with a slightly dry finish. This is the best example of Guinness that i’ve seen yet.

Tap at Trappeze, Athens GA Pours dark brown with thick mocha like nitro head Aroma was rather weak and watery with some malts for a charcoal nose. Taste, light, some roasted malts and thin touch of coffee with undertones of mocha with a lactose like palate. Overall mouthfeel was fluffy and silky/creamy with good nitro presence. Victory’s version of Guinness? dry finish, simple, light, too watery for my taste but very drinkable.

sample at Taco Mac, Windward. dark black with a big off white head. aromas of roasted malt and some ash. Very watered down light body - a bit of chocolate/coffee... this one is similar to Guinness in body, aroma and some flavor - however Guinness wins hands down. I would not order this one....

On Draft. Fantastic pour, akin to Guinness’ look. Carbonation perfect, head was creamy off-white, color of beer was near-black. Flavor, again, quite similar to Guinness. Nothing out of this world, but I really needed the low ABV after hitting some harder beers earlier in the evening.’

Excellent example of a dry stout. Don’t get confused with other stouts. This is a low alcohol brew. Nicely flavored.

Served at Victory brewery PA- Dark brew with off white head. Fresh but very watered down, weak barley grain flavor. There is no Guinness comparison here.
