Commercial Description:
Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

Color is amber with a thin and quickly vanishing off white head. Aroma is very light, some caramel, maybe nutty malts, and a little bit of spice. Palate: very easy to drink but maybe a little to watery and carbonated. Flavor is very similar to the aroma, malt and light spice, nothing that leaves much of an impression. Overall this is not a very complex beer. However, is is very easy drinking and pretty cheap, so I’ll probably end up getting it again. (yay! first rating!)

The aroma was malty with a nutty caramel presence of Munich and Vienna malts. Spicy hop notes were present and strong caramel. The beer poured into the glass clear golden amber with a white barely there head. The flavor was malty with a metallic note which was quite strong. The flavor was very one-dimensional and had caramel and a bit of low spicy hop, but not much more. The finish was dry with just a metallic note into the aftertaste. The body was medium and the carbonation was low. Not a well crafted beer, skip it. 12 ounce bottle. Enjoy by Feb 24, 08.

Bottle. Beautfiul beer, extremely refreshing, very drinkable. Not much more that hasn’t been said already. Not much complexity here, but the flavor is very good and balanced.

Another hit from Victory. Very smooth and drinkable. Not a whole lot of flavor, nor very complex, but still a great beer.

A clean amber orange pour with a very light off white head. An aroma that reminds me a lot of the adjuncts in a lager. A flavor that is a bit malty with a decent bitter finish. Mouthfeel is prettty solid. Overall a decent beer not one of my favorites but very drinkable and very plain.

17 Nov 07. 12 oz bottle, Enjoy by: Feb.24.08. Deep copper color, light foamy head. Big German malt aromas. Very sweet in the nose. Full-bodied flavor. Lots of caramel, some toffee and figs. All followed by a crisp hop bitterness. Very, very balanced and refreshing. I will definately be drinking this one AGAIN!

12 oz. bottle. Copper-amber color, with little head, only a thin film of a head left after a few minutes. Nose is malty with a lot of carmel. Taste is malty with some biscuit and bread, with a touch of carmel. Mouthfeel is nice. Finish is a bit muddled, but a nice hop flavor lingers. Pretty decent overall.
