Commercial Description:
Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

Pours a darkish copper with a thin head. Aroma is over sweened malts, sort of a faint vomit smell. Flavor also has an overpowering sweetness of malts, grains and caramel syrup.

Not bad. Pours out a nice orange color with a small beige head. aroma is malty and rather sweet. as was the flavor. A little to sweet for my liking, but over all not a bad beer at all.

Pours Amber with off white head. Nice sweet aroma with a bit of malt. THe flavor is quite full for a Märzen with hints of caramel, fruit and a nice finish. Held up well in comparison to Ayinger’s Oktoberfest.

Pours bright orangish amber with a mostly receding light tan head. Aroma of sweet rich maltiness, dripping with toffee and notes of bread and toasted grain. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly sticky with lush carbonation. Very nice festbier, one of the best American examples of the style.

The pour was a copper amber with a thin offwhite amber head. The aroma was grainy, sweet, malty, a little peat maybe. The flavor was sweet, easy to drink, malty, grainy. A little carbonated.

On draught at the Mill Hill Saloon in Trenton, NJ: The beer pours a clear copper color with a medium thin light beige head that dissipates slowly. Spotty lacing. Light malt and caramel along with hops in the nose. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel. Flavors of toasted malt and caramel, plus mild hops and fruit. The finish is sweet malt and a hint of hops. Slightly above average all around.

Sampled at the Newtown Brewfest from the tap. Amber color with thin head. Aroma of sweet malts and a touch of hops. Flavor was sweet with caramel malts, a bit of honey and a slightly bitter hop finish. Not bad, but not too exciting.

Coppery reddish orange, just the mere-est stain of an off white head. Toasty, vaguely sweet aroma. Toasty, grainy, with a mellow caramel flavor. Nice, woodsy, crisp finish.
