Oct 5, 2007 The malt aroma seems authentic enough, but the pour lacks the expected firmness and hop lacing. A clean malt flavor is let down by somewhat harsh hops. Festbier lacks the complexity to compete with the best German Marzens.

Oct 3, 2007 Toasty ,cereal malt, just like an authentic German Oktoberfest should smell like crisp clean malts in taste, with just a hint of candy sucker sweetness,drys out in finish with a lingering hop bitterness in finish,which actually becomes a little aggressive towards the middle of your glass

Oct 2, 2007 This beer smells a bit like honey and raisons. It is milky bronze in color and has a very small head. The flavor is sweet with a nice clean finish. An enjoyable Oktoberfest!!

Oct 1, 2007 Nothing overpowering here but it has a nice smooth feel, toffee caramel fruit, straw, and a little hoppy pinch in its end. Some carbonation is present in the finish.

Sep 30, 2007 Nov 2005 - Poured orangish, coppery color with nice fluffy head. Aroma and flavor was sweet malts and caramel. Very sweet with slight hop finish. Pretty good tailgating brew!
