Commercial Description:
Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

Bottle. Good aroma with spices but lacking a good look as with most Marzen’s. Decent flavor and aftertaste but still smooth.

Bottled. Poured a nice shade of autumny orange with a quickly-receding cap of off-white head. Nose picked up floral hops and sweet caramel.. nothing groundbreaking and a little on the stale side. Caramel and toffee formed a nice flavor base that was accented by alcohol and floral hops. The body was too light and there was more apparent alcohol than there should have been... Decent overall, but certainly not the best O’fest.

12 oz bottle. Deep orange colour, crystal clear with no head at all. Lovely deep rich maltiness. Munich malt and some decocted malitness are on display. Flavour shows a kiss of floral hops, lingering light breadiness. Not a lot of complexity, but this is all about being easy to drink… something it accomplishes well.

Pours a deep clear amber with a film for head. Sweet malty nose, thin with mainly malt flavor predominating. Hint of old vegetable and nuts. With almost no bitterness in the finish. One-dimensional, boring.

Clear brown witha slight orange tint and a small white head which fades very quickly. Bready, malty aroma with some slight grassiness and a mild spicy hop note. Fairly even balance of doughy malts and noble hops. Very thin and watery body with a tingly carbonation.

Sampled with Stegosaurus and Beerded_one at Newtown Beerfest. Amber pour with caramel aroma. Bread flavor with hints of tofee. Not bad.

(12 oz. bottle - "Enjoy By: Feb 24 07") Pours light brownish/reddish like apple cider with a few bubbles on top. Smells like rotten apples. Taste is much better, though a bit too sweet. Lots of sweet fruit and honey and a touch of bitter-sweet hoppiness, maybe. Malty. Smooth but a bit too thin. Good light carbonation. Nice finish.

Poured a hazy copper color with a large off-white head. Caramel malty aroma with light notes of fruit and brown sugar. The flavor starts fruity then turns to caramel. Semi-dry finish.
