Commercial Description:
Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

Couldn’t detect a real distinct aroma. Slightly sweet. Poured a nice rich amber color. Virtually zero head. Was hoping for a little more maltiness or character in the flavor. It was an ok beer but for the price, I could have done better. Victory makes much better brew than this.

12 oz bottle: Pours a deep reddish brown color with a cola like carbonation in its large bubbles that go away as soon as the pour finishes. Aroma is malty caramel, but nothing much like the entire beer.

Re-rated on tap at the Legend Fest: Clear light brown body with a thin off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma. Sweet dark malt and caramel flavor. Original Rating: Aroma had some cheesy hints, and the flavor was dominated by a powdered cheese flavor, very much like that in a box of mac and cheese. Possibly some sort of infection, but i’ve yet to experience a cheesy infection. 5/3/5/3/9

Pours a nice amber, thin head. Interesting flavor, more flavor than a lot of Oktoberfest beers. Decent beer.

Very decent Lager. One of the better Oktoberbest beers (not my favorite styles). I don’t understand some of the critiques here regarding hops. Why would a Lager be hoppy? It wouldn’t.

this beer is surprisingly average. I’m a big fan of Victory but this beer is weak. Its a bit more tart than I feel a marzen should be - I like them of the sweet side. It does have a nice aftertaste and a nice dark amber look. But all in all it average.
