| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 20, 2009 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent strong bubbly carbonation copper brown colored body. The weak aroma was malty and dirty sock. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of mild hops metallic and mild brown malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again. jimmay (229), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 19, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours orangey-copper in colour, with nice big caramel coloured head. Aroma is mild sweet malt. Taste is again sweet, hints of maple syrup, and even a hint of pumpkin?? Nice, and it’s almost Octoberfest! ljay6880 (163), , Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 16, 2009 12 oz bottle served in a clear pint glass. Pour was a clear gold with a pillowy, white head. Nose is a light sour ale, with possibly, a Belgian character, and spices. Taste is the same, with light fruits, and a lingering sparkling finish. Of all the Oktoberfest beers I’ve tried, this is the farthest from the norm. Not terrible, but again, a mediocre Micro. ononews9 (25), Hanover, Pennsylvania, USA

smell of malt, caramel, and a touch of spice.
taste is tangy, malt, some nuts, some caramel, a bit of hops in the back, and a touch of spice, ends tangy on the tongue. broozer81 (67), , New Jersey, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 2, 2009 Not bad, not great. But so far this year of the maybe 8 or so micro and german OKfestsbiers I’ve had, none have been the shit. Poured and ok medium to small off white head and bit of lace. Color is a nice medium amber. Aroma is very nice; malty and a bit spicy. Flavor is ’bout the same. Body’s a tad thin. ’S’okay. Nothing to write home about. Drinkable. Session beer. Body’s ok too. nuplastikk (1252), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 1, 2009 12oz bottle. Orange-brown color, filtered. Decent off white head that fades out after a couple of minutes. Amber malt and noble hop aroma. Great balance, this one hits the mark. Smooth and malty with an ever-present hop backdrop. Some crispness upfront, then fades into a mild caramel flavored finish. Subtle, quality beer.
