| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 24, 2009 Good beer, but nothing special. The flavors are light as is the aroma. Not the best octoberfest that I have had but it could be worse. Overall it is an average beer. Worth the try. Uglyradio (776), Greenville, South Carolina, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2009 Tap at The Blind Tiger. Poured a light copper color with a very thin head. Nose was light but mostly malty.Nice lager flavor with a solid malt backbone. A good example of the style fidelis83 (732), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 29, 2009 Pours dark amber with a 1 finger eggshell head that fades somewhat quickly to a thin skim and ring. Aroma is sweet malt, toasted grain, a little caramel, some earth and dark fruit. Flavor is lots of fresh grain, some caramel, sweet malt, underbaked cookies and some planty notes. Palate is light bodied a little slick and somewhat overcarbonated for the style. This is a decent marzen. I really like the very fresh wholesum grain taste that it starts out with but it lacks follow through. beerfest5 (214), Simsbury, Connecticut, USA
