Commercial Description:
Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

35.5cl bottle; Hazy, pale golden colour with a medium-sized frothy white head. Yeasty and slightly sweet malty aroma, restrained fruity with moderate phenolic spices and herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied with an almost crispy carbonation. Pale malt-character with shy fruity notes and a present yeasty and hoppy bitterness; pretty alcoholic finish. Another raw US Tripel. 31.VIII.09

Bottle at Voldby Ølmesse. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Mdoearet malty and hoppy aorma. Light yeasty notes but no citrus. Is this a trippel? Doubt removed when tasting! Great fruity and citrus flavor. Moderate bitter. Long great moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. So it is a trippel and a nice one.

Deep, cloudy yellow body and a thick white cap. Aroma of fruits with yeast notes and spice. Mouthfeel was good, a little creamy but with a slight bite from the hops. Flavors of banana, clove and citrus with a slight peppery bite, alcohol was noticeable but at 9.5% wasnt overwhelming. Pretty complex.

From 12 oz bottle. Wonderful golden ale with an off-white head and plenty of carbonation. Smells of pears and pineapple, with a slight aroma of true cinnamon. Taste is spectacular with plenty of citrus, champagne, and caramel sweetness balanced buy a bit of hop bite and ginger. Finishes with caramel notes and a pleasant presence of alcohol on the tongue. Great Tripel any day.

A creamy off-white head. Hazy glowing dark yellow color. A ton of carbonation. Looks like pineapple juice cut with champagne. The smell has notes of orange and pineapple. Spicy citrus-like orange peel. Mostly spicy sweet with a nice citrus hop accent. The taste is some of that wild, funky yeast which overwhelms. Some spicy coriander/orange peel. Hella nice. Half spicy/sour, half sweet. Some pineapple, grapefruit and champagne-y white grape. The feel is creamy on the palate, but fizzy like champagne. Damn nice overall. A fine example of a Belgian tripel. Balanced bitter/sweet/sour/spicy. Real nice.

In the spirit of Belgium Golden Ales, only better. This beer is bold and offers loads of flavor with smooth finish and lots of alcohol. This beer is best enjoyed by itself or for a refreshing summer treat try with a Myer Lemon.

Appearance is grand! Golden with a thick and creamy white head that seems to have an unreal retention factor. A ton of carbon bubbles flow throughout the drink. Smell is spicy. I can’t put my finger on exactly what spice it is, but there is also some pine present. Exotic, perhaps too much so for a tripel. Taste is not nearly as exotic. This reminds me of what many breweries do for a christmas drink, something of a honey taste with a few spices thrown in. A boozy sensation becomes more prevalent as the drink warms. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with an unexpectedly low carbonation for how it looks. Drinkability..I probably would skip this one in my next round. It goes down smooth but becomes too boozy after a few sips.
