Commercial Description:
Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

12 oz. bottle. Pretty refreshing aroma with some nice, simple spices, flour yeast, orange peel, banana, and herbal hops, no real alcohol smell like some other triples. Overflowing pour out of the bottle, big pillowy-bubbly starch white head, some lacing, small carbonation, hazy, bright golden color. Very balanced taste, not overpowering or harsh in the least bit with an almost non-existent alcohol flavor for a triple, though it still has some even bite throughout, peppery cinnamon spices noticeable right away, the yeasty flour dough Belgian malt flavors in this ale almost take a backseat to the good bitter leafy, herbal American hop profile that comes on strong in the end and nice finish. I’m not sure why this one took me by the surprise as much as it did, but this beer was a very pleasant experience the whole way through, and makes me want to see more of what Victory has to offer.

Poured cloudy amber with no head...I thought this was really on the spicey side with a heavy dosing of clove and spice (corriander?). There were some weak hops in there and overall the alcohol did not bite. As far as american brewed belgians are concerned this was a bit of a let down. I thought they could have done more with this beer. I was not all that pleased with this one...only so-so for me.

Bottle. Hazy light amber with active white head that dissipates quickly. Robust sweet aroma of banana, lime, orange, spices, metal. Flavors match the aroma, with a fizzy honey and orange soda feeling that lingers along with some bitterness on the tongue. Ever so slightly thin on the tongue.

Bottle: pours a golden honey color with a medium white head. Smells of a piny hops and clishg citris. Immaculate taste for a tripel. Leaves a refreshing, satisfying aftertaste. A definite session beer.

Bottle - Pours a quite hazy golden amber in color with a small white head that faded to a thin covering over the beer. Aroma is heavy with the classic Belgian yeast, coriander, some alcohol and mild of orange peel. Flavor is also quite yeasty, but the alcohol is also quite pronounced... too much... which detracts from the overall experience. Other flavors... coriander, orange and some malty sweetness are overshadowed by the strong medicine-like flavor of alcohol. Too bad... otherwise I think that this would be a really good tripel... as it stands, just above average... so much promise... somewhat disappointing.

Bottle at Eulogy, Philadelphia, in the company of Loz, Casey and Traci on my fortieth birthday, 16-11-08. Pours a wonderful golden colour and has a slightly unusual medicinal nose, well that’s the first thing I notice. Good flurry of sweetness, honey, yeast really decent Tripel. A6 A3 F7 P4 OV14 3.4

Poured quick and hard. Orange in color. 1/4" Head fades quick into nothing just a super thin rim on one edge. Looks like a beer with to much action. too much carbonation. Very spicy, orange, peppery. A lot of flavors going on swirling around each other. You wonder if it will calm down before the glass is gone. Then you wonder if it will calm down in a few years of cellaring. The carbonation is way too active for this beer. Again this beer needs to really settle down! It’s too much right now. This beer needs to settle down. A lot going on with a lot of popping of flavors made even more intense by the carbonation. I can have one maybe two of these. But this beer will F you up. I recommend this one as a night cap. It’s mine tonight! Still a really great beer that will only get better!

This one only scores this high cause of the alcohol contrent. Not a huge fan of the taste. I like a long aftertaste but this one is intensely long. To each their own and I am not a huge fan. Buuuuut, you drink about 3 and you know it! That I do like.
