Commercial Description:
Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

Very good Tripel. Pours with a slightly, hazy, yellow body with an average sized, white head. Aroma of cardamon, fruity aromas (spiced pears and apple), and a celerey smell I associate with Unibroue beers, dough, and yeast. Taste is fruity, yeasty, and spicey, decent amount of alcohol in the taste. Champagne like mouthfeel. Good stuff.

Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a small but lasting head. Aroma of apricot jam, yeast, vanilla, spice and alcohol. Flavor is a bit sweet with lots of fruit, yeast and spice. Seems a little thin on the palate at first, but the flavors linger. Nice alcohol bite at the end. Very nice!

12 oz bottle poured into glass; Very frothy white head with a light golden amber-orange hazy body. Aroma is overwhelmed by herbs and lots of yeast. I can’t seem to put my finger on the aroma but the palate finishes somewhat abruptly. Good beer and great alcohol content!

Smells wonderfully yeasty, sort of like sweet musty hay, but in a good way. Taste is sort of sharp up front giving way to a nice crisp malt flavor. Plenty of yeast notes the whole way. Tasty

Bottle. Pours a pale somewhat hazy color. Minimal head, decent amount of bubbly carbonation emanating from the bottom of the glass. Flavor is solid, with notes of sweet bread, some ripe fruits, Belgian yeast, hints of spice. Initially light bodied but lingers on the palate like a more hearty beer. Notes of alcohol are present, and impart a slightly warming finish on the back of the throat. Seems to be well made, one of the better American Tripels. This beer can be found in my fridge fairly often. Watch out though, this beer will creep up on you with the high ABV.
