| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Sep 19, 2008 Smells wonderfully yeasty, sort of like sweet musty hay, but in a good way. Taste is sort of sharp up front giving way to a nice crisp malt flavor. Plenty of yeast notes the whole way. Tasty WisconsinBeer (521), St Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours a pale somewhat hazy color. Minimal head, decent amount of bubbly carbonation emanating from the bottom of the glass. Flavor is solid, with notes of sweet bread, some ripe fruits, Belgian yeast, hints of spice. Initially light bodied but lingers on the palate like a more hearty beer. Notes of alcohol are present, and impart a slightly warming finish on the back of the throat. Seems to be well made, one of the better American Tripels. This beer can be found in my fridge fairly often. Watch out though, this beer will creep up on you with the high ABV. bp (457), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours an orange gold color with basically no head. Smell is herbal and yeasty with banana fruitiness as well. Taste is on the sweet side, with bubble gum and yeast flavor mostly. Very strongly flavored from the yeast. Drinkable, and decent for not being one of my preferred styles, but a touch too sweet.
